polka dots & ella fragrance giveaway #2 winner

It's Fashion Friday and instead of focusing on a specific designer or an editorial I'm giving you polka dots from my inspiration folder and announcing the second ELLA fragrance giveaway winner.

I have always had a soft spot for polka dots. One of my favourite wardrobe pieces is a backless black and white polka dot dress, which I've had for many years. It's a lovely summer dress that also looks good with a cardigan. Sometimes I put it on when I'm making pizzas on Fridays just to add a little style to the kitchen. Well, the apron covers most of it but it's the style that matters, right? Another favourite of mine is a white and black polka dot chiffon blouse that I wear a lot. I found it on Etsy last year when I included it in a collage for this post and I bought it.

I have been looking for a silk scarf with polka dots, preferably red and white. I saw one in a shop window in Antwerp before I knew we were moving and I always planned to go back to take a better look. Now I have to count on Luxembourg to deliver, or simply find something online. In fact, I found this vintage scarf - 80s Carolina Herrera - on Etsy but these are not the colours I'm looking for. Maybe it's something for you so I decided to share the link.

Do you have any polka dots in your wardrobe?

Now it is time to announce the second ELLA fragrance giveaway winner.

A name has been drawn from the hat and this time a bottle of the ELLA Day fragrance is going all the way to Australia. The lucky winner is:

the charming Helen of The Style Schedule blog

Helen even blogged about the giveaway so those five extra entries seemed to have paid off. In her comment, Helen said she would love a bottle of the ELLA Day fragrance and that's the fragrance she's going to get. Congratulations Helen and please send me an email with your address and I'll forward it to the ELLA team in Iceland.

There are now two bottles of ELLA Night fragrances left to win and the third winner will be announced next Friday. Let me remind you that the giveaway is open to all followers of LatteLisa and you don't have to write a blog to be able to win.

Have a fabulous Friday!

  1. No Waaay... I'm thrilled...I never win anything (really!)... You've so made my day/evening Lisa!! :) How gorgeous of you x I'm looking forward to having that beautiful bottle of Ella fragrance sitting on my chest of drawers!
Aaaand I love dots (must be something to do with being a bit dotty perhaps?), but really, I think they are very chic. Always a good idea to add style in the kitchen - never such a thing as overdressed for me - even if you're making pizza! Hilarious. :) Thanks so much lovely Lisa and lovely people at Ella! :)xx

Awwww! That's what I said when I opened your blog today and saw the polka dots. I've always considered myself a stripes-girl, but polka dots have been constantly gaining my interest. That dress you mention sounds gorgeous, Lisa! Backless? Yes, please! Now your Fridays sound even more fabulous. :)

  7. In general, I'm not a huge fan of polka dots but your post made me feel so uplifted that I think I'll have to change my mind about the pattern. :)
